DICRO SLIDE™ Dicro Slide™ is a special Dichroic Coated Paper created and developed by GlassHopper Patterns. This exciting dichroic product cuts with scissors, is easy to use and can be fired on almost any glass. It works with ceramic and porcelain too! Dicro Slide™ has the same high quality Spirit of Glass coating found on our dichroic glass. It comes in 5 Standard dichroic colors, plus Rainbow & NOW in patterns & 3 Premium Dichroic Colors! With a choice of several sheet or assortment package sizes, the options for adding unique shapes, creative color combinations & accents to projects are endless! ETCHED DICHROIC PATTERNS GlassHopper Patterns uses laser technology to etch patterns on Spirit of Glass dichroic glass. Etched patterns have sharply defined edges resulting in a clear image after firing. Available in 90 or 96 COE, etched patterns can add real pizzazz to your work! There are more than 1700 patterns to choose from. We etch these to your order on 4” x 4” or 8” x 8” squares of dichroic glass. Contact us for more information. IN CHAMBER DICHROIC PATTERNS Our In Chamber Patterns are created for us by Spirit of Glass during the dichroic coating process. These are available in 90 or 96 COE, in either Cool or Warm color ranges, on either 8” x 8” quarter or 16” x 16” full sheets. In Chamber Patterns seem to flow across the glass, adding emphasis and intrigue to the dichroic. Results with these patterns can be breath taking! Available on black or clear base, colors & pictures coming soon! Our 90 and 96 COE Dichroic Glass comes in a variety of colors and textures with sizes ranging from scrap to 22 inch diameter rounds. We carry Boro Float sheets in Standard Dichroic colors, with Premium color Boro and Dichroic Float or Architectural glass available by special order. Spirit of Glass, Inc. does all of our dichroic coating so the color consistency and quality of this dicroic glass is outstanding. A Few Quick Words About Dichroic Color The word Dichroic means "two color" and refers to the Transmitted & Reflected colors of the dichroic layers. A change in color - called Shift - happens because the dichroic molecules change shape when fired. Colors shown on the site approximate the various colors after firing. Please note Dichroic color may vary slightly between different areas of any piece or sheet of dichroic glass or Dicro Slide™. This is normal and is due to the way the dichroic layers are applied during the coating process. Such variation is not a defect in the Dichroic, in the glass, or of Dicro Slide™. It is simply another feature in the beauty of Dichroic! SHIPPING INFORMATION UPDATE All glass orders are shipped either Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Orders just for Dicro Slide™ may ship First Class Mail, depending on quantity ordered. Shipping cost shown on order is an estimate. Actual cost is determined by final package weight. Any sigificant difference between estimated and actual shipping cost will be refunded, usually within a week of shipment. Uninsured orders which are damaged or lost may not be eligible for credit, refund or replacement. SHIPPING TIMES Orders are completed and shipped in the order received. We make every effort to fill all orders promptly, most ship within two (2) weeks. If all products are not immediately available there may be a delay in shipping. Etched Patterns are etched when ordered and may take 2 to 3 weeks to complete etching. If you have questions about your order, please feel free to contact us. PAYMENTS We use PayPal for credit card processing. PayPal lets us accept all credit cards, as well as adding another layer of protection to our Secured Site Certification. If there is a signficant difference between the actual cost of an order and the amount estimated when the order was placed, we automatically refund the difference, usually within a week of shipment.
